Welcome to Adult Dyslexia Training
Course Title: Dyslexia Awareness, Recognition and Analysis.
Dyslexia is a recognised disability affecting 10% of the population. Undiagnosed dyslexia leads to low self esteem often affecting individual performance, the course helps to raise awareness and to recognise the signs of Dyslexia and the subsequent consequences of the disability.
There are two possible qualifications:
- Dyslexia Awareness Certificate of attendance level 1 (1 day)
- Dyslexia Awareness - Recognition and Analysis (2 day)
The three units of study are:
- Understanding the characteristics of Dyslexia
- Exploring tools for diagnosis of Dyslexia
- Assisting Dyslexics to overcome barriers
